What is Baptism?
Public Declaration
Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes your death to your old life and resurrection to new life in Him.
Biblical Command
Jesus commanded His followers to be baptized (Matthew 28:19). It's not just a tradition, but an act of obedience to our Lord and Savior.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."— Matthew 28:19

What if I'm nervous about being baptized in front of people?
You can have a personal baptism! It doesn't have to be in front of people. We can arrange a private baptism ceremony that's just as meaningful and special.
What should I wear for baptism?
You must bring your own towel and change of clothes. A dark t-shirt and shorts is perfect to baptize in. We don't provide robes, so come prepared with what you'll need.
Can my family and friends attend?
Absolutely! We encourage you to invite family and friends to celebrate this special moment with you. Baptism is a celebration for the entire church family.
What if I've been baptized before?
You can get baptized again! Just talk to the pastor about what that would look like for your situation. We're happy to discuss this with you.
